In this thread, I teach you the many abilities of forum "coding". Forum coding is the [these things] around your text that turn it into this or this.


Most of what you're going to be tought is in the "post new topic/edit post area" just above the message box.
We'll go down the list, top row, left to right, then bottom row, left to right.

COMMONLY USED TEXT MODIFICATIONS

• B: Bold your text.
  
• I: Italicize your text.
  
• U: Underline your text.
  
• S: Strike your text.
  

ALIGNMENT
Next is text aligning.

• Left Align: Align to the left.
  
• Center Align: Align in the middle.
  
• Right Align: Align to the right.
  
• Justified: No alignment.
  

BULLETS
Bullets help organize your ideas in a cleaner method.

• List: Ordinary bullets to list your ideas.
  
• Ordered List: Number your ideas, usually for a series of steps.
  
• Line Break: See that line between the "Bullets:" and the "Ordered Bullets:"? That's what this does. You have to place it between the two lines that are being split.
  

QUOTES, CODES, AND TABLES
Quotes are commonly used to show what you're replying to. the Code table is to show specifically what is in the code. The Table is, well, a table to graph things on.

• Quote: Click the quote button on another person's text to quote what they said into your text.
  
• Codes: Click the code button to type your code into. You can type the code with or without the Code Box, but it's easier with the Code Box.
  
• Table: *Update later*
  

MULTIMEDIA
Add pictures, videos, and even flash games to your post!

• Host an Image: *Update Later*
  
• Insert Image: Link an image from a URL.
  
• Insert URL: First, type in the web address. Then in the bottom box with the A, type in the word(s) that will be seen by others.

• Insert Video: Copy and Paste the web address of the video into the given textbox.

This part involves text size, color, and fonts.

• Text Size: Tiny, Small, Normal, Large, Huge

• Font: I'm not putting up all the fonts, go through them and see what you like.

• Index: _{Makes your text smaller than its current size}. (Makes your text smaller than its current size)

Now back to the question, is there a way to create a group hidden from even the Admin?

well the Admins can see it when they go to the Admin CP... Lemme find out.
